JULIA TRINTSCHUK

Julia Trintschuck plays a Javier Mengual Alhambra "Deseado" guitar.

Julia Trintschuk is an internationally award-winning young classical guitarist. She began learning guitar at the age of 4 with her father, Anatolij Trintschuk. At the early age of 6, she became a student of Professor Mario Sicca in Stuttgart. She later studied with Martin Wiedmann, Prof. Johannes Monno, Ivo and Sofia Kaltchev, and Mateus dela Fonte, in whose class she graduated with honors in 2018. Julia then earned her Master's degree (2021) and the soloist class exam (2023) at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf in the class of Prof. Joaquin Clerch, both also with honors.
During this time Julia Trintschuk successfully participated in many competitions and received more than 30 awards at international and national guitar and music competitions (e.g. "Internationaler Instrumentalwettbewerb Markneukirchen", "Internationaler Musikwettbewerb der ARD", "Norba Caesarina Guitar Competition", "Deutscher Musikwettbewerb", "International Llobet Competition Barcelona", "International JK Mertz Competition Bratislava", "Forum Gitarre Wien" and many more).

Her most recent successes include first prizes at the 2024 Alhambra International Guitar Competition (Spain), the 2022 Caneres International Music Competition, the 2021 Rometsch Music Competition (Germany) open to all instruments, the 2020 Norba Caesarina International Guitar Competition in Cáceres, Spain, and the 2020 GuitArt International Competition in Belgrade, Serbia. Since 2017, she has been a regular guest judge at international guitar competitions.

Her concerts are characterized by the great diversity of her repertoire , which includes pieces from the Renaissance to contemporary music. Julia Trintschuk has also premiered many works and regularly collaborates with contemporary composers. In addition to her solo work, Julia Trintschuk works on a large number of chamber music projects and plays in various ensembles.
singers, instrumentalists and frequently gives concerts as a soloist with various orchestras, such as the ADDA Alicante Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Montenegro, the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, the Malaga Orchestra, the Sinfonietta Ratingen and many more.


The special guideline in Julia Trintschuk's musical activities is to present the richness of the different sounds and facets of the classical guitar and bring it closer to the public. Dubbed the "Madonna with a guitar" by the press and acclaimed for her ease, virtuosity, and musical depth, Julia Trintschuk has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in more than 20 countries around the world, including the USA, Mexico, Russia, Cuba, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Poland, Slovakia, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Hungary, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. She began her performing career at the age of 16 with the well-known "Concierto de Aranjuez" for guitar and orchestra by Joaquín Rodrigo.

Julia has been a guest on WDR radio and in concert halls such as the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf, the B32 Theater in Sao Paulo, the Ehrbahr-Saal in Vienna, and the Juan March Foundation in Madrid.


Julia Trintschuk has been a Savarez artist since 2017 , and her debut CD, "Giocosa," was released that same year. Her second album, "On Love and Eternity," was released in 2024 on the GuitarCoop label.
