DOYA (FRANCE/SPAIN)
Doya is a group formed by two sisters , united by the same musical sensibility. Born in France to Spanish parents, they are immersed in a multicultural environment and grow up under the musical influence of flamenco . Since childhood, Marina and Melissa feel a true passion for music and learn to play the violin , saxophone and percussion . They receive classical musical training at the Tarbes Conservatory . In adolescence, they dedicated themselves to flamenco, spending most of their time in Andalusia and learning singing, guitar and cajón. In 2018 they created an explosive duo. They fuse both voices with a selection of various instruments, mixing numerous musical styles such as flamenco , Latin sounds, pop and electronic . Seducing in a short time a large audience around the world. After numerous performances in Spain, Portugal, and abroad, concerts in several of France's largest venues, and millions of views on their videos, they signed with the Home label, sponsored by Universal Music, and plan to release an EP in 2022.
