AMPARANOIA
Amparanoia (1997 - 2008) was the name of the musical group created by Amparo Sánchez, one of the pioneers of fusion music in Spain. The group was born in 1996 in the Lavapiés neighbourhood (Madrid) and was a pioneer of the mestizaje of the late 90s in our country and a reference at international level with a long career full of albums (eight), tours and recognition.
In 2022 they met for the first time in the studio with the group Artistas del Gremio, a charanga or brass band from Zaragoza, and recorded the song and videoclip of ‘Mi Genética, Charanga Versión’, the second time was in a mythical concert in Granada at the end of Amparanoia's tour on the occasion of the band's 25th anniversary. The chemistry with Artistas del Gremio was so strong that they began to plan to record together, and so they did. From that third meeting, the recordings of unreleased songs and also covers of the Andalusian artist's classic repertoire blossomed: a balkan-mex-swing-electro-charanga-mestiza bomb!!!
As a result of this mixture, strength and versatility, 3 singles and video clips have been released, ‘Algo esta pasando’, ‘La Balanza’ and ‘Fanfarria’. In 2024 the full album ‘Fan Fan Fanfarria’ will be released on limited edition blue vinyl and on digital platforms. The two bands will tour together with an overwhelming live performance, in a tour that will take them in 2024 and 2025 to stages in our country and some other international surprises.the messages and the trajectory of Amparanoia together with the energy and madness of Artistas del Gremio electronic bases, winds and songs to life.
