JORGE OJEA
Who would have thought that Jorge Ojea, guitarist, arranger and composer, born in 1976, that the day he began to investigate with his brother's Spanish guitar would be the beginning of a long musical journey. Dire Straits' songs were the first chords he played at the age of 14, and when he came of age he left his homeland, O Barco de Valdeorras, to prepare himself musically in the capital.
'Los Inkietos' was the name of the first group in which Jorge Ojea played, made up of people from Ourense, and with “Garijo Mambrú” he recorded an album in Madrid.
The producer Paco Trinidad contacted him and proposed him to record with Spanish artists and so he put his head among the greats. Luz Casal heard him and called him to join her band in 2002.
Jorge Ojea is a versatile musician who has collaborated with numerous Spanish and foreign producers, musicians and artists, both in the studio and composition as well as live. His specialities are:
- Professional musician (guitarist) live and recording.
