Julia Trintschuk is an international award-winning classical guitarist of the young generation. She began learning the guitar at the age of 4 with her father, Anatolij Trintschuk. At the early age of 6, she became a student of Prof. Mario Sicca in Stuttgart. Later, she studied with Martin Wiedmann, Prof. Johannes Monno, Ivo and Sofia Kaltchev, and Mateus dela Fonte, in whose class she graduated with her Bachelor's degree in 2018 with distinctions. Julia went on to achieve her Master's degree in 2021 and the soloist class exam in 2023 at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf, both with distinctions as well.
Throughout her career, Julia Trintschuk has successfully participated in numerous competitions, winning over 30 prizes in international and national guitar and music competitions. Notable awards include the first prizes at the Alhambra International Guitar Competition - CIGA (2024), the Caneres International Music Competition (2022), the Rometsch music competition (Germany) open for all instruments in 2021, the International Guitar Competition Norba Caesarina (2020) in Caceres (Spain), and the International GuitArt Competition (2020) in Belgrade (Serbia). Since 2017, she has also been a regular jury guest at international guitar competitions.
Julia's concerts are characterized by a diverse repertoire that spans from the Renaissance to contemporary music. She has premiered many works and frequently collaborates with contemporary composers. Besides her solo work, Julia is involved in numerous chamber music projects and performs with various ensembles, including collaborations with singers and instrumentalists. She regularly gives concerts as a soloist with different orchestras, such as the National Montenegro Symphony Orchestra, the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, the Orquesta de Malaga, the Sinfonietta Ratingen, and many more. Her guiding principle is to showcase the rich sounds and facets of the classical guitar, bringing them closer to the audience.
Hailed as the "Madonna with guitar" by the press for her ease, virtuosity, and musical depth, Julia Trintschuk has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in over 20 countries worldwide. Her extensive concert tours have taken her to countries such as Mexico, the USA, Russia, Cuba, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Poland, Slovakia, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Hungary, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Julia launched her performing career at the age of 16 with the renowned "Concierto de Aranjuez" for guitar and orchestra by Joaquin Rodrigo. She has been a guest on WDR radio and performed in prestigious venues like the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, the Teatro B32 in São Paulo, the Ehrbahr-Saal in Vienna, and the Fundacion Juan March in Madrid.
Since 2017, Julia Trintschuk has been a Savarez-Artist, and her debut CD "Giocosa" was released in the same year.
