GONZALO HERMIDA (SPAIN)
Gonzalo Hermida is a Spanish singer, composer and producer, born in Cádiz on June 26, 1995.
Gonzalo began to take an interest in music at a very early age, but it was at the age of 15 that his closest circle heard him sing for the first time, discovering his potential as an artist and encouraging him to pursue it professionally, composing his first songs and learning to play the guitar, piano, and ukulele.
Some time later, when he took to the stage for the first time, he reaffirmed his belief that his love and passion for music should take the leap from amateur to professional. He then began to teach himself music recording and production software.
His musical influences are multiple and varied, ranging from classic Spanish bands and artists like Miguel Ríos and El último de la fila to renowned international artists like Ed Sheeran, Tommy Torres, and John Mayer, as well as singers from the current Spanish scene.
In 2015 he moved to Madrid and began his career as a professional composer, working closely with prestigious authors and producers. In recent years, apart from his songs as a performer, he has had the opportunity to work on songs for artists such as: Malú (Ashes, Wanted, Abran Fuego) Antonio José (The Art of Living, I Forgot, Eclipse, The Good Side of Things, Breathe from You) India Martínez (The Last Time, Gris) and many more.
In 2017, Gonzalo launched his career as a singer-songwriter with the release of his first single, "Intacto," followed by "Noche Estrellada" and "Limón," both with over 4 million plays on digital platforms. These two tracks are the first tracks from his debut mini-album, NATURAL, on sale since March 9th. With this mini-album, Gonzalo aims to showcase his singing talent and continue developing his already established career as a composer, this time in person.
In 2019, she released her single "Guajira" with Andrés Ceballos (Dvicio), playing on all national radio stations.
In March 2021 he released his first LP "IGNÍFUGO" independently. He is the composer along with other authors and the producer of his own album, which he defines as "Ignitable is never getting burned no matter how much you burn." An album composed of 11 unreleased songs, which features collaborations such as those with Julia Medina or Funambulista.
As a composer and producer, Hermida is working in 2021 on albums by artists such as Malú, Sergio Dalma, Julia Medina, María Parrado, Antonio José and a long etc. with more than 80 songs released on the market.
