SOTHA NAKABAYASHI (JAPAN)

Our luthier, Javier Mengual, sees this guitar as one of his greatest achievements, a guitar in which he attempts to satisfy all the desires that professional guitarists have conveyed to him throughout his long professional life.
Desires that reach their culmination in a guitar with a smooth, melodic, and powerful sound, a balanced and very light guitar, with great comfort and crafted with the finest woods of traditional Spanish construction: Indian rosewood and Cameroon ebony.
Deseada is a tribute to his wife, a tribute to a lifetime of work and coexistence, a tribute to the professional guitarist who yearns to hear the authentic sounds of Spain. Javier's passion for excellence in guitar making merges in this guitar with the collaboration and complicity of the teacher, composer, and great guitar performer, Joaquín Clerch . In the sonorous notes of each of these guitars, one can feel the complicity of the continuous work of these two great masters of the Spanish guitar.
