MANNI WU (CHINA)

Manni Wu plays a desired Alhambra by Javier Mengual Chinese classical guitarist Manni Wu was born on May 4, 1992. She started playing guitar at the age of 7 under the instruction of her father. In 2010, she entered the classical guitar program at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, where she studies with Professor Bastian Hildner from Germany. Manni Wu successfully participated in several master classes with, for example, Carlo Marchione (Italy), Gabriel Bianco (France), Fabio Federico (Italy), Arnoldo Freie (Brazil), Sanel Redzic (Germany), Marcin Dylla (Poland), Marco Tamayo (Cuba), Ricardo Gallen (Spain) and Thomas Mueller-Pering (Germany). In 2015 she passed the Robert Schumman Hochschule and Weimar Franz List Musikhochschule exams and was chosen to study with Professor Joaquín Clerch at Robert Schumman Hochschule, Duesseldorf, Germany. On June 20, 2017 she finished the Master Degree with the highest marks. In 2020 she finished the Concert Exam Degree at the same school with the highest marks as well, This Degree is the highest Diploma in Europe. Now she is teaching at Jiangsu Normal University in China. Honors During his studies at the Conservatory, he won several prizes at major national guitar competitions all over China, including some international competitions, and also gained some performance experience: 1st Prize: 2013 Hongkong International Guitar Competition 2nd Prize: 2013 Thailand International Guitar Competition 3rd Prize: 2016 Fiuggi X International Guitar Festival of Italy 3rd Prize: Greece 23rd Hermoupolis International Guitar Festival 2016 1st Prize: Indonesia 4th Valerio International Guitar Festival 2016 1st Prize: Malaysia TARREGA International Guitar Festival 2016 «Leo Brouwer» Award: 2017 Certame Anderes Segovia 32nd International Guitar Festival of Spain 2017 2nd Prize: 2018 Sinaia International Guitar Festival of Romania 1st Prize: Italy 12th Fiuggi International Guitar Festival 2018 2nd English: Award: Greece 4th Arion International Guitar Festival 2018 1st Prize: Russia New Generation International Guitar Internet-Competition 2021 1st Prize: Russia 5th Nizhny Novgorod International Guitar Intenet-Competition 2021 Experience In April 2014, she held 4 concerts for «Night of Guitar » solo concert tour in China, performing in Weihai, Qingdao Guangzhou and Changzhou, to a total audience of more than 1000 people. In November 2016, she made a guitar duo with her Colegio Miguel Angel Diaz (Spain) , In April 2017 they were invited by the sponsor of Chinese guitar-Martinez Guitar finished the concert tour successfully in six cities around China.(Hangzhou ,Yiwu ,Ningbo ,Wenzhou ,Qingyuan ,Guangzhou). In August 2017, invited by the Organizer of Valerio Indonesia International Guitar Competition as an Artist to perform concert and Masterclass during the Festival. In March 2018, she invited by the government of Geldern and Goch in Germany as an artist to perform Solo Concert at the Spring Series Music Festival. In December 2018, she invited by Martinez Guitar company to do solo concerts across 8 cities in China. (Shenzhen, Suzhou, Xuzhou, Hangzhou, Xiangyang, Wuwei, Tianshui, Rizhao). In September 2019, invited by Marinez Guitar company to do solo concerts across 5 cities in China. (Chongqin, Xi'an, Wuxi, Guiyang, Guangzhou) In January 2020, she was invited by Nordrhein-Westfalen Neu Orchestra to present the famous Guitar Concerto “Concierto de Aranjuez” in Duesseldorf, Germany. In July 2021, she held a Guitar Summer Camp at Changsha Concert Hall, China. In August 2021, she performed as a soloist at Shanghai Oriental Art Center, China. In May 2022, she performed as a soloist at Changsha Concert Hall, China. In the year 2023, she performed in different concert halls, for example Changsha Concert HallÍ€ Baotou Concert HallÍ€ Guangzhou Grand Theater and so on, in China.
