
GONZALO HERMIDA (SPAIN)
Gonzalo Hermida is a Spanish singer, composer and producer, born in Cadiz on June 26, 1995. Gonzalo began to be interested in music at a very early age, but it was at the age of 15 when his closest circle heard him sing for the first time, discovering his potential as an artist and encouraging him to pursue it professionally, composing his first songs and learning to play the guitar, piano and ukulele. Some time later, when he went on stage for the first time, he reaffirmed his idea that this feeling and love for music should take a leap from amateur to professional. At the same time, he began to study music recording and production programs on his own. His musical influences are multiple and varied, ranging from classic Spanish groups and artists such as Miguel Ríos or El último de la fila, to renowned international artists such as Ed Sheeran, Tommy Torres or John Mayer, without leaving aside singers from the current Spanish scene. In 2015 he moved to Madrid and began his career as a professional composer, working side by side with prestigious authors and producers. In recent years, apart from his themes as a performer, he has had the opportunity to work on songs for artists such as: Malú (Cenizas, Se busca, Abran Fuego"¦) Antonio José (El arte de vivir, Me olvidé, Eclipse, El lado buen de las cosas, Respirar de ti"¦) India Martínez (La última vez, Gris"¦) and a long etc"¦ In 2017, Gonzalo embarked on his career as a singer-songwriter with the release of his first single "Intacto", followed by "Noche Estrellada" and "Limón", both with more than 4 million listens on digital platforms. These two songs are the first pieces of his first mini-album NATURAL, on sale since March 9. With this mini-album, Gonzalo aims to make his facet as a singer known and continue developing his already consolidated career as a composer, this time in the first person. In 2019, he released his single "Guajira" together with Andrés Ceballos (Dvicio), playing on all national radio stations. In March 2021 he released his first LP "IGNÍ FUGO" independently, he is the composer himself along with other authors and the producer of his own album, which he defines as "Ignífugo es no quemarse nunca por mucho que ardas" An album composed of 11 unreleased songs, which features collaborations such as those of Julia Medina or Funambulista. As a composer and producer, Hermida works in 2021 for albums by artists such as Malú, Sergio Dalma, Julia Medina, María Parrado, Antonio José and a long etc"¦ with more than 80 songs published on the market.
