DOYA
Doya is a group formed by two sisters, united by the same musical sensibility. Born in France to Spanish parents, they are immersed in a multicultural environment and grow up under the musical influence of flamenco.
From childhood, Marina and Melissa feel a real passion for music and learn to play the violin, saxophone and percussion. They received classical music training at the Tarbes Conservatory. As teenagers, they dedicate themselves to flamenco, spending most of their time in Andalusia, and learn to sing, play the guitar and the cajón (box-drum).
In 2018 they create an explosive duo. They fuse both voices with a selection of various instruments, mixing numerous musical styles such as flamenco, Latin, pop and electronic sounds. Seducing in a short time a large audience all over the world.
After numerous performances in Spain, Portugal and abroad, concerts in several of the biggest venues in France and millions of views on their videos, they signed with the label Home, sponsored by Universal Music, and plan to release an EP in 2022.
