AUSIAS PAREJO (ESPAÑA)
Ausiàs Parejo is the winner of the Alhambra International Guitar Competition (CIGA) 2022, the Tokyo International Guitar Competition 2024, and the Pittaluga 2025. He plays an Alhambra Deseada Spruce guitar
“I have just returned from Valencia, where I chaired the jury of the 15th Alhambra International Guitar Competition, in which the four winners were selected from among a large number of participants from various countries around the world. But I want to highlight something that rarely happens in these competitions: the First Prize was awarded to a 16-year-old, who captivated the jury and the audience with his technique and interpretive maturity. Make a note of his name: Ausiàs Parejo, a new star who has just emerged in the fascinating world of the guitar.”Lorenzo Palomo, composer, Spain (2022).
Born into a family of musicians, the Valencian guitarist Ausiàs Parejo is considered one of the most brilliant and promising performers of his generation.
Ausiàs brings a personal touch to his performances: a balance between virtuosity and expressiveness that captivates both audiences and music critics.
“The young Ausiàs is destined to be one of the most important classical guitarists of this century. Rarely have I found in a musician the perfect balance between the human, the intellectual, and the artistic. As an eternal lover of the guitar, I can only thank the young Maestro for his extraordinary work.”
