BORJA MONTENEGRO (SPAIN)

I have considered myself a musician since I started playing guitar at the age of 7. I am from Toledo, but I have lived in Madrid all my life. I studied with several private teachers and later I ended up at the conservatory where I spent several years of my life studying. At the age of 17 I was already touring with my group "Condena2" supporting Rosana throughout Spain and at the same time playing in almost all the small venues and bars in this country. We published a couple of albums and I began to understand how this profession worked thanks to the great professionals that surrounded me. Shortly after, I received a call from producer Javier Limón to start working with him, recording guitars and making musical arrangements on several albums by artists such as Ana Belén, Sole Giménez, Jose Luis Perales, Ainhoa ​​Arteta, Lolita"¦, it was the moment when I broke away from my project to focus on my career as a musician and begin to understand the work of production with so many recordings, I was 24 years old. After recording for a few years, I began to tour with several artists (Perales, Ana Belén and Victor Manuel, Sole Giménez, Manolo Tena, Luz Casal,"¦) learning the trade of a musician, traveling, savouring the stages, enjoying each concert and, ultimately, developing myself as a person and as a professional. I am currently touring with Joaquín Sabina on his tour "Contra todo opiniones". At the same time I started working as a producer on different projects working in various recording studios, until in 2014 I was able to open my own studio, my own space, my home "Diciembre Estudios", where I develop most of my work as a producer.
